The practice facility will be one of the last parts of the property to be renovated. It is currently being used as storage for equipment and pipes, as you can see below.
But the practice facility will soon transform into one of the best in the area, with actual greens to aim at that are surrounded by bunkers, as you can see from the plan above. The severe drop at the front of the range will also be reduced, allowing you to follow your wedge shots and see them land. Below is a picture of the range from November:
As you can remember, the tops of the aiming posts are barely visible from the back of the range. That is partly because much of the dirt that was used to create many of the elevation changes throughout the course was taken from this piece of land. Some of that earth will be returning to the driving range, created a smoother elevation change.
You will also notice from the plan that the practice putting green will be located just behind the first tee box. Below is the old putting green, which was closer to the ninth green than the first tee box:
